Stand-Inn is a privately owned family operated guesthouse in Historic Warrenton, GA. It is a late Victorian, early Edwardian stucture with modern day conveniences. It was originally a Four Square design. Rumor has it that it was a Sear's Catalog House and a Parsonage.  There are still fireplaces and woodenfloors, each room has it's own half bath. There may be a waiting line for the tub or shower but you won't have to wait with your legs crossed! 

 

Stand-Inn is not a Bed and Breakfast in the traditional sense, it is more like the old boarding houses of the late 19th century. There are very little if any frills but still very comfortable and old-fashioned,  It is the perfect compromise for the outdoorsman and their other half. 

 

Conveniently located between Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia there is access to unlimted entertainment and shopping.  The Augusta National Golf Club is a short distance away. The Oconee National Forrest and Park are nearby for hikers and explorers. There are various activities in the town of Warrenton through out the year.  We recommend you bring your bicycle and enjoy exploring and picnicking for a day. Don't have a bike? We might be able to help you with that. Bring your tennis racket, Warrenton has a nice park with tennis courts within walkin distance of Stand-Inn.

Just trying to get away from it all for a bit? You couldn't choose a better spot. The town of Warrenton, though small, has more than it's share of restaurants within walking distance.  It is also an easy drive to Augusta or Atlanta for those looking for more upscale locations.
